National Level Achievement at OCUMEN 2010

31 Jan 2010. The students of THE MODERN SCHOOL Sec- E, Aliganj brought laurels to the school by bagging the overall second prize, from among 19 prestigious schools from all over the country, at OCUMEN 2010 – the national level annual IIM Lucknow event dealing with different wings of management right from operations to marketing to finance and consultancy.

Sameer Kulkarni, Biranch Tandon, Shubendu Trivedi and Anurudh Mishra represented the Modern School in all five events . In the preliminary round of G.K. quiz, The Modern School stood first. Shubendu Trivedi and Anurudh Mishra represented the school in the finance management event and were declared the overall winners, whereas the team of Biranch Tandon and Anurudh Mishra won the second prize in the operations management event.

The students were extremely overwhelmed by their experience at IIM. ‘It was a lifetime experience to interact with the best brains of the country’ said Shubhendu Trivedi and Biranch. All four said that they were thankful to their school management and teachers for the help and support.
