Baal Mela marks Children’s Day!!

The school, on November 12, organised a ‘Baal Mela’ to mark Children’s Day. The fair, held at the playground, made the school premises more vibrant and cheerful.

Putting their school uniforms aside for a day, the children came dressed in colourful attires. The annual celebration that payed tribute to the first Prime Minister of India, Pt Jawaharlal Nehru also came as a much awaited break from studies, considering that the students had put in extra efforts for the half-yearly examinations.

The teachers put up various food stalls offering a variety of lip smacking snacks. The school band also played some foot tapping music. Students took turns to shake a leg on the dance floor.

The smiles, laughter and giggles added to the charm of the day.
