“Deca-Hurdles”

In November, the school organised ‘Deca-Hurdles’ for classes 6th to 12^th. Deca-hurdles is a combination of ten activities which aims to develop and test the mental and physical capabilities of participants.

A combination of indoor and outdoor activities, the ten events were–‘On-the-spot skit’, ‘Extempore’, ‘Speech contest’, ‘Quiz’, ‘Poster-making’, ‘Spell-bee’, ‘Boggle’, ‘Relay race’, ‘Four-legged race’ and ‘Tug-of-war’.

It was an inter-house competition and the prizewinners were awarded by the Principal. The teachers organised and coordinated the activities in the event.

Participation being voluntary, reflected the school’s philosophy ‘Discipline without fear’.
