Cooking without Flame & Dip in Veggies

On April 26th, 2023, the Auditorium at our school buzzed with excitement as young chefs from Grades 1 to 5 showcased their culinary skills in the “Cooking Without Flame” competition. Meanwhile, on April 15th, 2023, Grades 6 to 12 delved into the world of healthy eating with the “Dip in Veggies” challenge. These events not only stirred up delicious dishes but also emphasised the importance of nutrition, hygiene, and creativity.

In Group 1, composed of Grades 1 and 2, and Group 2, consisting of Grades 3 to 5, students whipped up innovative dishes using ingredients such as paneer, chocolate syrup, fruits like watermelon or mango, mayonnaise, and dry fruits. Judges carefully evaluated each dish based on taste, presentation of nutritional value, hygiene, understanding of nutritional benefits, and uniqueness.

The event not only celebrated the joy of cooking but also promoted essential life skills such as creativity, teamwork, and an understanding of healthy eating habits. As the aroma of delicious creations filled the auditorium, it was evident that these young chefs had not only cooked up tasty treats but also gained valuable insights into the art of cooking.
