Vidyatree Modernites organise Art Exhibition ‘Expression’ as fund-raiser for Nepal Earthquake Victims
In the morning at 11 am on Friday 8th May 2015, The Lalit Kala Academy was turned into a galleria of the beautiful, vibrant, exotic art work of the vivid imaginations of various students of Vidyatree Modern World College. The event was inaugurated by Dr. Navneet Sehgal IAS, Principal Secretary Information and special guest Dr. Vandana Sehgal, distinguished architect and art lover. The art exhibition named ‘Expressions’ was welcomed with the wide open arms of the people of Lucknow, who were audience to the opportunity given to the students to exhibit the Pablo Picasso and Leonardo Da Vinci within them. The art work of more than fifty students of the school was excepted for amounts as high as rupees forty thousand, the sale proceeds of which was donated to the victims of the Earthquake that hit Nepal on 25th April,2015.
