My journey towards creativity

Tanisha Goel’s painting “SYMPHONY IN MY MIND” will be a part of the EXPRESSIONS 2018- Annual Art Exhibition and Fund raiser. She has been studying in VMWC since Grade Prep and is in Grade XI now. She shares her thoughts on painting and creativity.

I was in Grade 9 when with a paint brush and a thought of tracing my skills and creativity, I stepped up into the Art Room. Probably, this incident carved out a new path of my love and passion for Arts. The Art room not only acted as a place for drawing or painting but also as a space for innovation and exploration of new thoughts. I soon developed keen interest in arts and crafts and its roots can be easily traced in our school’s education system. Further, our Art teacher supported us a lot. Whenever I felt discouraged, she motivated me to perform even better and paint my passion with lots of creativity, innovation, hard work and determination. The Art room and all other classrooms have the framework which provide an array of amazing resources. To develop creativity, an innovative thinking is needed for which our school provides a suitable environment. This environment helped me polish my qualities and emerge as a person who strives hard to be a great artist one day.
