Children celebrate Republic Day with sports

The Modern School, Aliganj held the Primary Sports Day for grades 1 to 5 on Saturday, January 26 on the occasion of the country’s 64th Republic Day. Various sports events like Relay race, 1OO meters race, Lemon and spoon race, Thread-needle race, Banana race, Ready to school race etc were held in which the children participated enthusiastically. A Mathematics relay was also organized which tested the speed and analytical abilities of the students in dealing with Mathematical Problems. The founder of the school, Mr Rakesh Kapoor felicitated the winners. Earlier in the day, the National Flag was hoisted and the national anthem sung.
