Education is being revolutionized all over the world.

With the age old tradition of bringing the best in Education from all over the world to the city of Lucknow, we bring to the city the International Baccalaureate (IB) Primary Years Program (PYP) from Geneva (www.ibo.org), for classes Nursery to 5th. We are also in the process of implementing the Cambridge Lower Secondary Program for classes 6 to 8.

First time in Lucknow

Modern School was the first school in the history of Indian Education to be certified for ISO9002 and then ISO9001 – a symbol of consistent quality control.

Modern School was the first school to win the Golden Peacock National Training Award for excellence in teacher training.

Modern School was again the first school of India to get accredited to Quality Council of India’s Standard for Quality School Governance.

Now Modern World School is the first school in the city of Lucknow to implement the IB PYP, which is a Geneva based world class curriculum framework, with over 2984 IB schools worldwide and a philosophy based on the need for an education system where children are allowed to pursue their intrinsic curiosities and creativity, to become self-reliant human beings ready to face the world. Some of the best schools of most countries, including India, are IB schools.

THE MODERN SCHOOL is a candidate school* for the Primary Years Programme. This school is pursuing authorization as an IB World School. These are schools that share a common philosophy—a commitment to high quality, challenging, international education that (this school) believes is important for our students.
*Only schools authorized by the IB organization can offer any of its three academic programmes: the Primary Years Programme (PYP), the Middle Years Programme (MYP), or the Diploma Programme. Candidate status gives no guarantee that authorization will be granted.
