Later our Quality Director Mr. Rakesh Kapoor addressed the parents and children. “Modern School children are taught to be resilient and to be able to stand up to any situation in life and face hardships with confidence and a smile on their faces”. He further added that the school works tirelessly towards making its students ‘Fully Functioning Persons’ imbibing in them qualities of empathy, congruency and unconditional regard. If a child understands the other persons point of view (empathy), presents his true self (congruency) and keeps unconditional and non judgmental attitude towards others (unconditional regard), such a child would definitely become a great leader and influence the lives of many.

Mr. Kapoor congratulated the students and encouraged them to take on the roles of great responsibility that they had been entrusted with. He also  urged parents to inspire and support their children in carrying out their leadership duties.

Inspiring, motivating and awarding, were words that described this event most aptly. It was not just a day when prefects were invested and conferred with new responsibilities but also a day when new leaders are born and their tryst with new challenges and hurdles begin and so does the test of a true leader.
