Inquiry based teaching and learning- an exclusive workshop for Parents

This morning, Vidyatree Modern World College hosted a parent workshop about Inquiry-based teaching and learning. We would like to thank all the parents who attended and contributed to the experience.

The workshop was conducted by the Primary Years Head and Coordinator Ms. Shalini Fate and was aimed towards bringing the awareness to the parents’ community about the purpose and importance of inquiry. More than 30 parents participated in the session and got a first-hand experience of how inquiry looks like,feels like and sounds like. It was an amazing experience for them wherein they could discover the learner in themselves while participating in hands on activities. The practical examples of inquiry pedagogy helped them to understand how their children in school, construct knowledge and master skills required to cope up with this rapidly changing world.

The workshop was followed by a session on Dramatics by our renowned Drama Instructor Mr. Lalit Pokharia. The parents thoroughly enjoyed it. Our respected Founder, Kapoor Sir concluded the session by distributing the certificates of Participation to all the parents. The school plans to provide more such experiences to the parent community.
