The student council for the senior section (Classes IX-XII) for the session 2015-16 was formed in a systematic manner. Students were nominated for the posts of Head Boy and Head Girl by the Teaching staff and the Principal. They spoke to justify their candidature and later interviewed. On the basis of their performance, it was decided to have an additional post of Deputy Head Girl.

Students of class XI applied for the posts of House Captains, Sports Captain and Event Captain for each house. Their applications were judged and short-listed. Short listed students campaigned to fetch maximum votes from their house members. Election was conducted on August 11 and gave the students a fair idea of democratic procedures.

Each house also selected Literary In charge and Discipline In charge by mutual consent.

The student council for the junior section (Classes Nursery-VIII) for the session 2015-16 was formed separately to inculcate leadership skills and attitude of independence and cooperation. The members of the council were nominated by the teachers and elected by the students through voting by students of classes VI-VIII. The members from class V were directly nominated and finalised by the teachers.
