Top trance DJ remembers the school

“I got really emotional when I came across The Modern School website. Although, I passed out in 1998, I feel it was just a while ago. I had joined The Modern School in 2nd standard, when it was located in Mahanagar.

“The 10 years I spent in Modern School will always remain in my heart and mind. It was the main learning phase of my life. A non-metro city like Lucknow, groomed me in such a way that I am among the top trance DJ’s of India, now. I am not boasting of myself, but I would like to inform you that I have more fans around the world than the so called India’s no.1 electronic music DJ, Ivan.

“I am the only trance DJ/artist from Bangalore signed up with Psychedelic Tribe Production, UK no.1, the best trance music record label. My style of music is totally futuristic and 100% electronic music. By the end of this year, my first solo trance album will be released on UK’s best trance music record label.

“I started playing as a regular resident DJ at Club Flames in 2007, every weekend. The Crowd started liking my track selection and my style of mixing.  Like other DJs, I don’t follow the orthodox way of mixing, and I have discovered my own style of mixing. The reflexes really need to be strong for this style or else a delay of a fraction of a second can result in a goof up. Initially, I did goof-ups but crowd never complained it because they thought it’s a technique used and only I used to know that I did a mistake. Now, I have almost mastered that technique. I have learnt the electronic music production by self-learning. The tracks I have produced so far are produced without using any professional equipment.

“Apart from DJ-ing and Music production, I also work with Hewlett Packard as R’n’D engineer for HP Notebooks.

“It was really a great feeling to come across my school’s website. I am really grateful to Modern School for grooming me to be able to achieve all that I have achieved. I am grateful to my English teacher to teach me perfect English. 🙂

“I still remember the beginning, when the school was in Mahanager. I am still in touch with my batch mates through Facebook n Skype. I feel good that all ex- Modernites are doing really good in life. My good luck will always be there with The Modern School and I am sure more talents will continue to come out from that school.

“Although I charge 10K for playing 2 hours and 15K to play LIVE, it’s my dream to play LIVE for free for 10-12 Nonstop at the Modern School’ field.

“I wish all the luck to The Modern School. The way The Modern is providing quality education, I am sure the school will soon be recognized globally as one of the world’s best schools.

“I would like to thank the school for nurturing me to the point where I am now with many fans from all over the world. I’ll never forget my time spent at Modern School in my entire life.
