A thankful alumnus gives credit to his school for shaping his career successfully

I am currently a Product Manager at Microsoft in the Office365 team. In the fifteen years since I left Modern School, I have come to realize and appreciate how some of the principles that were emphasized in the school continue to help me. ‘Learning without fear’ for instance, imbibed in me to ask questions when necessary, always be inquisitive and learn things beyond the immediate need and ties in what we call the ‘growth mindset’ at Microsoft. I had opportunities to participate in extempore and quizzes, both within the school and outside, and it helped me be a better public speaker, how to express my ideas and work in a team. I can go on and list many other examples of how my time at the school set me up on a path towards personal fulfillment, professional success and contributing to society. For that, I am thankful to the school, teachers, and my classmates, many of whom have grown to be leaders and pioneers in their fields.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_column_text]Mohit
