Grand Bal Mela
The Grand Bal Mela 2024 at Modern School, Aliganj, was a vibrant celebration of creativity, teamwork, and community spirit. Held on 17th November, the mela brought together students, parents, and visitors for a day packed with delicious food, exciting games, and thrilling prizes. A lively carnival that brought together students from Grade 1 to 12 for a fun-filled day. The event featured an array of food and game stalls, offering something for everyone.
A total of 30 stalls dotted the school premises, manned by enthusiastic students and open to both school attendees and visitors from outside. From delectable treats to thrilling games, participants showcased their entrepreneurial spirit while honing essential skills such as communication, critical thinking, and managerial prowess.
The stalls offered a delightful combination of tasty treats and fun games. Grade 1’s Fun Food Frenzy featured marshmallow candies and the Tai Tai Phish game, while Grade 2’s Unicorn offered Lays chaat and a lively Cup Ball game. Visitors at Grade 3’s Treats and Treasure savored pasta, muffins, and lemonade while solving a tricky Word Search game.
The middle schoolers added their flair, with Grade 6’s Lucknow Express Khana Station and Zip Zap Zest Café serving pani puris, bhelpuri, mojitos, and games like the Candle Game and Brick Game. Grade 8’s Maggie-a-Way and Graze & Go drew large crowds with their tasty snacks and quick service.
Adding to the thrill of the event was the Raffle Draw, with winners announced every hour. Visitors eagerly awaited the results, making the atmosphere electric with anticipation. The prizes were as exciting as the event itself:
