Fees & Scholarships
Clear, predictable fees — and scholarships that reward far more than marks. Everything for the 2026–27 session, in one place.
What school costs.
Fees are paid in six equal instalments across the session. Below is the per-instalment amount by grade.
Six instalments per session. One-time admission fee ₹35,000 (includes a refundable ₹5,000 security deposit).
How fees are paid
Fees are paid through the school app, Lernio — with digital receipts, and the option to pay any number of instalments in advance. You can also pay at the school office (Monday to Friday) by bank draft or credit/debit card.
Need help with Lernio? The office is open 9:00 am–12:00 noon, Monday to Friday — call +91 95549 33338 or +91 95549 33337.
Late payment is ₹50 per instalment per day past the due date. Transport fees vary by route — please contact the office (+91 79851 01363) for your area. Mid-session admissions from Grade 1 onwards pay one instalment up front.
Awarded for more than marks.
At Modern, scholarships recognise academic excellence — and also higher-order thinking, leadership, sport, and the everyday practice of the school’s values. Each is awarded as a percentage of the school fee.

For the top performers in board and school exams — Grade 8–Grade 9, and Grade 10 ICSE–Grade 11.
Dr. Nitya Anand — HOTS Scholarship Exam
A higher-order-thinking assessment for Grades 3–9 & 11. Score 95% or above to earn the award. Exam: 23 February 2026.
Sports Scholarship
For excellence in sport — national, state, or aspiring sportsperson. Applied for, with records and a coach’s recommendation.
Shri Rakesh Kapoor — Young Leader
For mindful leadership, initiative and real contribution to school life (Grades 8–11). One to three students, by application.
Values in Action
For students who genuinely live the school’s values — kindness, joy, responsibility, gentle leadership (Grades 3–12, five+ years at Modern). Five awarded school-wide.
Who can apply
All scholarships share a few basics: no major discipline concerns, and conduct that reflects the school’s values; a positive family–school partnership; fees paid on schedule; and a student who adds to a safe, mindful, joyful school culture.
A student receives either a fee concession or a scholarship, not both. · Applying does not guarantee an award. · The school may revise or withdraw a scholarship; Scholarship Committee decisions are final. · Application forms are available at the school office.
We’re happy to walk you through it.
